Daily smiles
Sharp throttle response, predictable brakes — exactly what I wanted from a daily motorcycle. Service interval is generous too.
About the bike
The BMW S1000 RR is the Bavarian flagship sportbike — a 999cc inline-four with ShiftCam variable valve timing, revised aero winglets for extra downforce, and a comprehensive electronics suite including traction control, cornering ABS, launch control and a bi-directional quickshifter. It competes head-on with the Ducati Panigale V4 and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R in India.
Color customization
Cycle through the available finishes. Where we have official photography, swatches load the real car in that colour — otherwise we render a tinted preview.

Selected colour does not affect price unless it's a premium-paint option. Confirm with the dealer at booking.

Editor's score
A well-rounded motorcycle that delivers what the brochure promises. Strong fundamentals, predictable handling and a cabin of buttons that actually make sense — there's not much to complain about here.

Everything we'd shout from the rooftop, and the niggles we'd wish away.

Did a 600 km weekend ride and the ergonomics are spot on. Wind protection at the screen could be better but otherwise brilliant.

Two seasons in and not a single rattle. Paint and chrome still look new. Worth every rupee.
